Feinstein Institute Wins Gold Electrode Award for Work in Bioelectronic Medicine

SAN FRANCISCO, CAThe Feinstein Institute for Medical Research has earned the 2016 Gold Electrode Award Most Valuable Nonprofit Organization by Neurotech Reports. The Award was given at the 2016 Neurotech Leaders Forum in San Francisco, California, and recognizes the Feinstein Institute for having the vision and the fortitude to drive the bioelectronic medicine field forward, and expand neuromodulation technologies into new indications.

Researchers in the Feinstein Institute’s Center for Bioelectronic Medicine develop device technology to read and modulate the electrical activity within the body’s nervous system, opening new doors to real-time diagnostics and treatment options for patients.

Neurotech Reports is an industry trade publication that provides business and technology professionals information about the field of neurotechnology and future developments that will affect the venture capital, research, and start-up communities.
