TAP 0303: Synovial Tissue Collection
Protocol ID
05-054
Protocol Description
The purpose of this study is two-fold. First, we are collecting synovial tissue and blood to study the genetic and environmental factors involved in the development and severity of arthritis. What is learned may be helpful in improving prediction, diagnosis, and/or treatment of arthritis and related autoimmune diseases. Second, we will save or bank (as part of the Tissue Donation Program), unused portions of the synovial tissue and blood for future studies.
