Protocol Description
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the M2a Magnum Hip System, a new hip system that is approved by the FDA. This study will collect data related to the surgery. This data will include – demographic data, data about the surgery itself, clinical data on how patients feel and function before and after the surgery, radiographic data and any complications related to the surgery.
This data collection effort will document the clinical outcomes of the M2a Magnum Hip System. The data gathered will be collated and used to provide physicians clinical outcome, implant life span, and potential complications when using the M2a Magnum Hip System. The data will also provide feedback to designing engineers of the manufacturer – Biomet Inc.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for hip replacement surgery
