Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis Study
A Phase I, Open-Label Study of the Safety and Pharmacokinetics of FG-3019 in Adolescent and Adult Subjects with Steroid-Resistant Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis
Protocol ID
Protocol Description
The best drug for people with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is unknown, especially in subjects who do not get better after receiving standard medicines. There is evidence that new medicines that prevent scarring in the kidney may be helpful in subjects with FSGS, but it is unknwon how safe these medicines are in the human body. This study will test one of those expermental medicines called FG-3019. It is a recombinant human antibody. This study will try to determine if FG-3019 can be given safelly to subjects with FSGS. The study will also look at how the body handles this medication by checking blood levels.
