Centricity Series
Each new scientific discovery requires translation into a practical clinical application. Public health scientists play an essential role in translating this information over to the community to facilitate population studies and promote basic medical knowledge. Many specialized groups of people are involved in this process and it takes an incredible amount of time, money and effort.
Established by Molecular Medicine in 2007, the CME-accredited Centricity Series program provides professionals and the public alike a robust biomedical venue to help synergize the current translational process. Progress will occur by providing the proper tools, encouraging continuous collaboration, and increasing awareness of the public's essential role in helping achieve scientific discoveries. Translational research will evolve as a result and over time a rapid perpetual circulation of knowledge and discovery will be implemented, ultimately leading to improvements in health care and the quality of life.
Centricity Series are held in the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research's Goldman International Conference Center. Previous disease topics include sepsis, cancer and lupus. Visit www.centricityseries.org for upcoming events and registration information.
