Circulation
Blood circulates throughout the body in precise tune to keeping the body healthy. Any problems along the way can lead to specific diseases, including peripheral arterial disease, stroke and heart disease. Arteries can become blocked with extra cholesterol or a sticky substance called plaque. This buildup can narrow the arteries and make it harder for blood to make its way around the body to feed nutrients to tissues and organs.
