Epilepsy

Brain cells communicate through electrical impulses. When the signal misfires it can cause chemical changes that trigger a multitude of symptoms, such as confusion and temporary loss of consciousness. A lot of new research is underway in epilepsy to figure out the best way to identify the earliest signs of a seizure and prevent a full-blown attack.
