For Research Participants
The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) is part of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. It is a special hospital unit that is funded by the National Institutes of Health to support clinical studies for both adults and children. There are a wide variety of studies that are conducted through the GCRC.
The purpose of this section of our Web site is to provide education in clinical research to both potential and participating research volunteers. We hope that you take the time to read through this section as it is an excellent source of information designed for the lay person.
