Laboratory of Analytic Genomics
As part of our NIMH-funded EUREKA (RO 1MH84098) and Grand Opportunity (RC2 MH89964) awards, we are using both GWAS and NGS approaches to identify both common and rare variants associated with schizophrenia. A particular focus is on recessive alleles that have not been widely used in psychiatric genetics. We also work closely with other members of Center for Psychiatric Neurosocience to examine the relationship between candidate genes extended phenotypes, including neuroanatomical variation, neurocognitive performance and treatment response variables.
