A patient-centered translational research training program that
prepares young physicians for careers in investigative medicine
The Elmezzi Graduate School provides superior academic training of physicians committed to discovering the causes of human diseases and translating research into diagnostic and therapeutic solutions. As an integral part of the Feinstein Institute and Northwell Health – the largest health system in New York State – our emphasis is on translational biomedical research that can move quickly from laboratory work bench to patient bedside.
Our academic program is unique – focused on individualized mentoring and training that gives our students a competitive edge for translational research. Students are fully immersed in their thesis research from the beginning of the program with minimal course requirements.
The Elmezzi Graduate School for Molecular Medicine is committed
to training the next generation of leaders in translational research.
The Elmezzi Graduate School of Molecular Medicine is supported in part through
a generous endowment from The Thomas and Jeanne Elmezzi Foundation.
