Feinstein Institute orthopedic researchers focus on joint disorders and using 3D printing and bioprinting. We work to understand the causes of joint degeneration, identifying genes that predispose to some joint diseases, like arthritis, and the response of the immune system to infections and injuries that affect the joints. We also combine two emerging fields – 3D printing and tissue engineering – to revolutionize and personalize many standard treatments.
