Leading the discovery and development of novel therapeutics
We lead the discovery and development of novel therapeutics, which improves the lives of patients suffering from a variety of conditions including lupus, arthritis, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease and sepsis. We integrate innovative approaches in target discovery with medicinal chemistry to generate small organic compounds and potential drugs. Our new drug candidates and repurposed existing drugs target critical proteins involved in neurodegenerative and autoimmune diseases. We also collaborate with the Center for Bioelectronic Medicine to uncover molecular triggers of disease and potential targets for treatment with bioelectronic medicine.
