The 2017 Brain Tumor Biotech Summit, held on June 2 at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, brought together the nation’s top cancer specialists and the investment community to promote innovative new therapies for brain tumors. Attendees had the opportunity to network with researchers, oncologists, surgeons, CEOs, hedge fund managers, venture capitalists and leaders in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. They also received the latest updates on cancer treatments and learned what’s happening in clinical trials and research labs across the nation.
Presentations were made by leading financial, pharmaceutical and medical authorities in the field. Special guest speakers included Andrew Sorkin, co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk Box; Carlos Paya, PhD, CEO of Immune Design; Eric Leuthardt, MD, professor at the Washington University School of Medicine; and Michael Lim, MD, associate professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
